The Tartan Terrors

The Tartan Terrors have been performing their Celtic rock music since their inception in 1996. Their repertoire includes Loch Leven, Perfect Storm, The Cousins, The Guiding Light and Floodgates to name a few. Their tenth CD, On the Road Live, captures the fun of a LIVE show which is an entirely different experience than a CD recorded in the studio. We have performed at some of the most iconic venues in the world such as The Iridium in NYC, Daryl’s House Club and The Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival to name a few. We continue to honor the memory of our beloved Ellen Irmisch, our founding co-leader, who passed away in 2019 and who still resides with us in spirit through the music we play in every show. Our aim is to bring Celtic music in a fun and entertaining form that is appropriate for all ages in our theatrical show.

Byham Theater Information

101 Sixth Street Pittsburgh, PA 15222 Our Private Venue The Byham Theater, located in the Cultural District of downtown Pittsburgh, is a private venue of stunning rococo-appointed architecture that is beautifully maintained. The Byham Theater can seat up to 1,300 people and features an orchestra level of seats, 7 individual boxes (some can hold as few as 3) and two ADA sections. Although the sightlines from almost every seat in the house are excellent, the outermost right and left orchestra seats may have a partially obstructed view. Standard theater concessions are available. Contact the Box Office at 412-456-6666. The Box Office opens two hours prior to curtain and remains open 30 minutes after the performance.

Parking Information

The Byham Theater is conveniently located near many area parking facilities. In addition to several off-street garages, there is one right across the street. Check the ParkPGH app for the most up-to-date information on parking rates and availability. On-street and municipal lots are abundant in the East Liberty/Pittsburgh neighborhood.
